FInally....

Thank you Jill for finally making update. How in the world you ever get it done is still beyond me.

Well the boys are 4 months old now and growing like linebackers! Dylan is 22.2 lbs and Conner is 22.12 lbs, both are 27 3/4 in long. Way off the scale, but way too cute. We are now eating some cereal and veggies, should be starting fruit next week. They are really starting to notice each other and making faces at each other. Both of them were sleeping great from 2 months until about a week ago. Dylan will sleep about 10 to 11 hours, but Conner is testing me and gets up either every couple of hours or at least a few times a night. He is going to have to be a big boy very soon. Problem is if you let one "cry it out" the other is bound to start crying.....decisions, decisions. The doc says they should be rolling over by now but their weight is probably holding them back...I say she's crazy, they are perfect. They will be rolling over soon enough! :)

Here they are....

Sorry for the delayed post but we have been very busy! Born August 26th....Dylan Matthew Keeley born at 1:59 p.m. weighing in at 7.4 lbs. and Conner William Keeley at 2:01 p.m weighing 8.1 lbs. Both were 20 inches long. They are beautiful. I have attached some photos so you can see for yourself. We love them very much and all is going well now that we are home. We ended up back in the hospital after being home for 2 days. The boys were jaundiced and had a 2 and a half day stay in the special care unit but all is good now and we are just loving every minute.

The day has come....

Tomorrow is the big day. We have to be there at 11:00, c-section is scheduled for 1:00. We are very excited and want to say thank you to all of you who have been keeping us all in your thoughts and prayers. We have had the best pregnancy and could not ask for a better blessing. I will be sure to post some photos as soon as I can. Again, thank you all for everything. We love you and are thankful for the great friends and family we have.

Ok so I am 36 weeks and 1 day today. The babies were measured today. Baby A measured at 6.4 lbs and Baby B measured at 7.3 lbs. Yep, they are big boys. Baby B is measuring at 39 weeks, 4 days! I am down for the count now. I'll keep you posted...

Two very different peas in a pod!

Appointment went well today. They are starting to monitor the babies' movements, breathing movements, cord and heart beats once a week. All were good today. Baby A weighs 4.2 lbs and is measuring on schedule with my due date. Baby B however, is a pig. He weighs 5.4 lbs and is measuring a little over 2 weeks ahead of schedule. They say this is nothing to be concerned about for baby A, as long as neither baby are underweight, they are not concerned. Fat boy even had the hick ups during the ultrasound and is showing some hair on his head. Baby A is just trying to get some room to wiggle. It was a really funny ultrasound though between finding out they are almost a pound different in size, the hick ups, hair, and baby A refusing to wake up and move around! They had to "buzz" baby A to get him to do anything. Stubborn! Anyways, they both seem to have their own little personalities that are already starting to shine! We are in love them both!

Scheduled Birthday!

Had 2 doctor appointments this week. We have some big boys! One now weighs 3.9 lbs and the other 3.1 lbs! They are growing so fast....the nurse was even shocked. One is laying horizontal and one is head down. In a couple of weeks I will start going to the doctor every week. They will start watching their movements, breathing and so on.

We also have a scheduled birthday.....AUGUST 26th!!! 2 days before my birthday. What a birthday gift. That will put me at 38 weeks. The doctors say if I take it easy and listen to their direction, I should have no problem making it till then.

Still no names.....

Trip Home...

Well I survived the trip home. The plane ride to Ohio was horrible though.....sweats got to me a little and I ended up getting sick....recycled air is foul. BUT I made it and it was worth it. I was so happy to get to see everyone. Thanks to my good friends Beth and Courtney, I was able to experience a 3d/4d ultrasound! Thank you! We got our first look at the beautiful Keeley Boys! I have attached 4 photos for your viewing. As most of you are still irritated with us calling the Baby A and Baby B, we must until they are named. We hope to give you all names soon, but naming our boys is a big deal and we want to make sure they are the right names so please continue to be patient with us. :-) The first photo is of Baby A's face, he is a handsome little guy. The second photo is humorous because it is of Baby A looking like he is plugging his nose. Now please keep in mind that right in front of his face is his brothers bottom! We all got a real laugh out of that pic. The third pic is of Baby B with his little mouth open and I like to tell my self he is telling us all HI! The last pic is of Baby B's face and he is just as handsome as his brother. I also wanted to say THANK YOU to my wonderful mother who had an awesome shower!!!! I got so many nice things for the boys and getting to see everyone was so great. I want to
thank everyone for all the wonderful things. Matt and I appreciate each and everyone of you and we are so thankful to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends. Matt drove is wonderful self up to Ohio to pick up everything. What a wonderful Dad! Big Sis Makenna even go to
ride up to her hometown. All in all this has been a wonderful week. Thank you to everyone who came and who helped my mom with the shower. I have a Doc appt tomorrow to check my sugar. I will let you all know the results.

Sono went well again today. She said the babies are growing great. 1.13 lbs and 1.14 lbs! One head is up and one head is down. The picture I have attached has part of a leg and a foot to the left and I think you can even see some toes....and a head on the right. Poor little guys have to smell each others feet all day! They are moving so much these days I am sure they will be in a different position in no time. Dad got to feel some extreme movement over the weekend, which is always exciting. We were watching the UFC fights and I think they were trying to show up the guys on TV. Plus they got some cheesecake from the cheesecake factory, a treat for all 3 of us!!! They were going crazy! Big sis got some action last night too. It is so funny when she feels them....she jerks her hand away really fast and her eyes just get big. She is going to be a great big sister! I am obsessed with feeling them move. If they go a period of time without moving, I am talking to them trying to find out what they are doing!

I am really looking forward to my trip back home to see everyone! I will be there in 2 days!!! See you all soon!

Big Sis!

Just had to let you all know that Makenna got to feel her brothers move for the first time last night. She has been trying for a while now, but last night she starting talking to my belly, and then her eyes got a little big....love it!

Check up.....

I just had a basic check up this morning, no new pics or videos. Heartbeats were 148 and 154, which the doc said normal. Next visit is in 2 weeks.

Matt finally felt the boys move for the first time on Saturday. It was pretty amazing. It seems they are on a wrestling schedule now. When I am up, they are down. When I am down, they are up. Which I just need to get used to, because I have a feeling that will be the case for the next couple of years! Grandma and Grandpa Keeley came down last weekend to celebrate Makenna's 13th birthday and primer the boys' room (thank you!). So now we are ready for paint and crib assembly. Thanks to Aunt E we have crib bedding, and thanks to Grandma DD we have cribs, so we can begin putting the nursery together. Dad has very busy preparing! I have not been much help other than playing the role of director, which Matt just loves! :-)

Till next time,

Healthy Boys!

I had my doctor visit this morning and all is still really good. The babies heads are down which is a change from the last visit. Of course, it is still too early to assume they will stay that way. They are becoming more and more active everyday. My evening ritual, after having dinner, is to lay down and wait for them to start wrestling. The doctor said they are growing perfectly and one baby is 1 pound and the other is 15 ounces and trying to catch up to his big brother! We have finally reached the 1 pound mark!! I am 21 weeks as of today and could not have asked for a better report. I have posted a few of the pics from today's visit. One is of the both of their heads, one is a profile, and one is a face. The last video was almost an hour long and that is why I couldn't get it to post. I think the video from today is about 10 minutes and I will try to get it on in the morning, but I am not sure my tech skills will reflect on this blog EVER.

They are moving!

Saturday I finally felt the boys swimming around! It was very exciting for us and my mom was here so it was extra special. Mom took lots of pictures of my belly and even took a pic of my feet today at the airport because she couldn't believe how puffy they were. We had great visit and it was hard to put her back on the plane, but I will see her soon.

After a several requests.....I have decided to post the first belly shot. This was taken over the weekend and please remember.....I am having twins! Jill, I am sure you understand!

4/16/09

Check up today went smooth this morning. Heartbeats were around 151, I wish I could say the same for my weight! For those of you who don't know, the boys are fraternal twins. Some of you have been asking, so I thought I would just post in case I missed someone. No new pics today, I will have my next ultrasound on the 29th and I will be sure to post them then. This evening my mom is flying in from Ohio and I am very excited. This will be the first time I see her since all the big news. My ankles are beginning to look more and more like muffins with each passing day but still feeling good for the most part. Doc says to get plenty of rest and be lazy, and thanks to Matt, that has been the norm for me lately. We still have not come to any decisions as far as names go, but thank you for the continued suggestions!

4/08/09

Heart doctor said everything is fine and I do not need to go back until after the babies are born, just for a check up. We are about 17 and a half weeks right now. One of the boys is just over 7 ounces and the other is just over 6 ounces. My new due date is 9/9/09. However, they say I will probably only go until mid August. The doctor said she will be happy if I make it 35-36 weeks, so we are half way there! Chances are the boys will come C-section unless both of their heads are down and they are cooperating. We will see. All together I feel great though. I have a follow up appt. with my OB on the 16th. And for those of you who don't know, I am seeing a maternal specialist once a month. I will get an ultrasound with every visit, which will be nice seeing the boys that often. I have tried all day to get my DVD of the first ultrasound into a file to post, but unfortunately I have failed.....SEVERAL times!! I will try again tomorrow. I will also try to get some more photos up of the ultrasound if the video fails again.

And NO, no names yet! :-) However, we are still accepting suggestions.....some.

Thanks, Brandi & Matt

OK, here it is!! Your one stop shop to see the latest and greatest about the Keeley boys. I will do my best to keep this blog updated minute by minute as I am sure you all are expecting, but please be patient with me as I just figured out this blogging thing so it may take me a few days to get the rest of the photos and the ultrasound video up. I hope you all enjoy! Lots of love, Matt and Brandi.
